We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering top-tier, patient-centered care.

 

Position Overview:

We are looking for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) specializing in Breast Surgery to enhance our multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will work closely with our breast surgeons, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing evaluation, treatment, and follow-up for breast conditions.

 

Position requires a minimum of two years of experience as an advanced practice provider.  

Qualifications

  • Patient Assessment: Perform initial evaluations, take medical histories, and conduct physical examinations for patients with breast conditions.
  • Care Coordination: Develop and manage individualized care plans in collaboration with the surgical team, including pre-operative and post-operative care.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about breast health, surgical options, and recovery processes, ensuring they are well-informed and supported throughout their care journey.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in the electronic medical record system.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with the surgical team, nursing staff, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, case reviews, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or Physician Assistant Studies (PA).
  • Certification: Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a focus in relevant specialty areas.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an advanced practice provider, with a preference for experience in breast surgery or oncology.
  • Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
  • Licensure: State licensure as an Advanced Practice Provider in Florida
