Position Overview

BayCare Medical Group is seeking an experienced Adult Outpatient Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our BayCare Behavioral Health team in Brooksville, FL. There is no call requirements for this position.

Qualifications

Position Overview:

The Nurse Practitioner provides psychiatric services to individuals with mental health diagnoses, including persons who have co-occurring disorders (MH SA).

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts psychiatric evaluations and follow-up management in a variety of treatment settings to the targeted populations.
  • Works under supervision of a psychiatric protocol.
  • Provides clinical consultation to medical services staff and other treatment team members.
  • Acts as Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts, as designated. 

 

Position Requires: 

Board certified as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and have at least 2 years’ experience in role of PMHNP post-Master's.  Must have experience with MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment).
