Position Overview:

BayCare Medical Group is seeking an experienced Adult Outpatient Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our BayCare Behavioral Health team in Brooksville, FL. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated PMHNP to provide comprehensive psychiatric care with no on-call responsibilities, ensuring a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up management for individuals with mental health diagnoses, including those with co-occurring disorders (MH SA).
• Deliver patient care under the supervision of a psychiatric protocol, ensuring the highest standards of practice.
• Provide clinical consultation to medical services staff and other members of the treatment team.
• Serve as a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts, contributing to the multidisciplinary approach to mental health care.

Position Requires: 

• Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
• At least 2 years of post-Master's experience as a PMHNP.
• Proven experience with Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) is required.
