BayCare Medical Group-Gessler Clinic's General Surgery Group located in Winter Haven, FL is actively recruiting a nurse practitioner to join their team of five surgeons and one nurse practitioner. Candidates with surgical experience as an Advanced Practice Provider are strongly preferred. This position will be 50% inpatient and 50% outpatient. The overall responsibilities will include hospital rounding once daily, seeing consults in-patient, and seeing patients in an outpatient setting, with minor surgical procedures performed in office. Gessler outpatient clinic is located accross the street from Winter Haven Hospital. Call is 1:5 weekends, and no weekday call. You will have full support of the physicians as well as support staff including RN's and LPN's in office.
Position requires: APRN Florida Licensure and Board Certification. 2+ years of experience required.
