BayCare Medical Group’s Gynecology and Oncology program based out of Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida, is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant to provide pre- and post-op management of gynecology and oncology patients. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly skilled surgeon with a strong community reputation.  

This position will also include:

• Outpatient services seeing post operative patients, chemotherapy patients, patients with malignancy, and patients with acute conditions.   
• 1st call responsibility every other week, 14 days per month. Average calls 15-25 per week  
• Hospital rounding 1 weekend day per week (Saturday). 
• Candidates with gynecology and or oncology experience are preferred.  
• Will place chemo orders after trained.
• Ideal candidate should be flexible, affable, creative, energetic, and can show compassion while working with patients. 

Position requires: Two or more years of experience as an APP in Oncology and or OB, Florida licensure APRN or PA certification.  Acute Care Certiciation, or training in acute care is preferred.
